ICFAI Group Flagship IFHE Gets DIAMOND Rating in its First QS I-GAUGE Assessment

In a landmark achievement for higher education in Telangana, the ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education (IFHE), Hyderabad, has clinched a prestigious DIAMOND rating in its maiden QS I-GAUGE assessment. As the first institution in the state to earn this rigorous 360-degree quality badge, IFHE has firmly cemented its status as a powerhouse of academic excellence. Modeled on the globally recognized QS Stars methodology, the assessment evaluated the university across multiple stringent parameters. IFHE not only secured the overall Diamond status for high pedagogical standards and robust employability outcomes but also captured the highest possible PLATINUM badge in Faculty Quality, Social Responsibility, Governance, and Academic Development. This milestone reflects a thriving academic ecosystem, reaffirming the Category-1 autonomous university’s unwavering commitment to delivering world-class, nationally competitive education.

ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education,(IFHE) Hyderabad, has been conferred the prestigious DIAMOND rating in QS I-GAUGE assessment, signifying the institution’s commitment to academic excellence, national competitiveness, and highly efficient institutional practices.

QS I-GUAGE is a comprehensive, independent, and quality rating assessment framework designed to rank India’s education institutions. Under this framework, institutions undergo a 360-degree assessment and receive quality badges based on their performance across various criteria that cover teaching and learning, student quality, governance, research, etc.

The ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education (IFHE) is a Deemed-to-be University under section 3 of the UGC Act 1956. ICFAI Business School (IBS) is a prestigious constituent of IFHE. More than  6,500 students are pursuing various programs in the Faculty of Management (ICFAI Business School), Faculty of Science & Technology (ICFAI Tech), Faculty of Law (ICFAI Law School) and ICFAI School of Architecture. 

NAAC, an autonomous institute of University Grants Commission has also accredited The University with ‘A++’ Grade with an impressive score (institutional CGPA) of 3.59 out of 4. ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education is now a Category-1 Autonomous Institution.

Developed under the QS (Quacquarelli Symonds) brand in partnership with local education experts, and modelled on the globally recognised QS Stars methodology, QS I-GUAGE evaluates universities across parameters such as teaching and learning, employability, research and innovation, governance, and social responsibility. 

Institutions are assessed by the QS Intelligence Unit in London and awarded ratings ranging from Bronze to Platinum+, offering students and stakeholders a credible, 360-degree benchmark of institutional quality.  

ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education has shown strong performance across several key dimensions like Teaching and Learning, Employability, and Facilities, were rated DIAMOND, indicating high pedagogical standards, positive student outcomes, strong industry partnership, and top-tier infrastructure. 

ICFAI secured the highest possible badge – PLATINUM in Faculty Quality, Social Responsibility, Governance and Structure, and Academic development, which further highlights the institution’s commitment to faculty quality, robust institutional frameworks, efficient administrative framework, and governance initiatives. 

The QS I-GUAGE DIAMOND is a recognition of the strong academic ecosystem that ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education has built over the years, as the institution looks forward to renewed commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.
