Fire Rages in Delhi

Around 2:40 PM on Tuesday, a major fire incident has happened in South Delhi.

The 220 KV Okhla Power Station is the source of the fire. It is located near the Crowne Plaza hotel.

Twelve fire engines have been rushed to the spot. No one is reported injured.

The cause of the fire is still unknown. Agencies are doing the rescue operations.

Traffic to the neighbouring areas like Khan Market and Fortis Hospital are likely to be affected.

Delhi's fleet of autorickshaws and taxis are on a strike today, protesting against mandatory installation of GPS in all such vehicles.
